  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I just turned in a 2006 Lexus GS430 Ultra luxury pkg. I leased a 2010 Genesis V8. After reading the forum I took a 3 hour test drive to assure myself that I could live with this car. The ride is firmer, and the cornering is flatter. I personally prefer the steering in the Genesis, more exact. The interior of the Genesis is roomier, the quality looks equal, it is a little bit noisier in first gear on a start, but not objectionable. The accomodations are easier to enter and exit and more comfortable. I exchanged this car for $30,000 less than a replacement 460. I have been driving LS Lexus' for my last five cars. I will make further comments to the forum as I put miles on the car. I appreciate this forum; I studied it carefully before I made this exchange.

I made a typo, the car I returned on lease was an LS 430 as have been all five of the Lexus I have had previously.

I have a 95 LS400 that I still use, it's a great car. It's clear that Hyundai used this car as a template for the Genesis. The dimensions are very similar. The Lexus is serene and effortless. The Genesis is like the Lexus on steroids.
