Hello All,
I have a 2010 genesis coupe 3.8 coupe with a fault code U0101 lost communication with the tcm. I was wondering where is the location of the tcm? I can't find much information online on coupes. I've seen on sedans the location is right next to the ECU. On mine it's only the ECU. Is the tcm in the transmission? On a cold start the jerks and when put into drive with brakes applied the transmission feels like it's trying to change gears. The traction control light comes on and the car enters limp mode. I also notice the air conditioner comes on after starting the car not sure if related or normal. Battery is holding good voltage, checked the fuses, checked the plugs and wiring, checked the grounds. Haven't checked the can bus. I wanted to replace the tcm but cannot find it. Any help on its location would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
