Many of you know the car’s history since it is thoroughly documented on this forum. I’ve been a long-time supporter and contributor to the Genesis community. It has been an enjoyable journey but it is time for me to move on. I still love my BH30 and hope the new owner will love it just as much as I have all these years. CPO purchase back in North Carolina on 10/2012 with 19k miles. All maintenance, recalls, and applicable TSB’s performed at Hyundai Dealers only, with all maintenance records available. CARFAX report available upon request. Would like to sell as is with all KDM and aftermarket parts installed. Inquiring about price for the extra lower grille (non adaptive) and the Sly Brackets no drill front license plate mount (need to get mine out of my windshield lol)

I know you said youd rather sell as is.. BUT if that doesnt end up happening id be very insterested in trading for the brembos so it can be swapped back to stock or justs straight up buy. Also the prada side engine covers because they clean up the engine bay so nicely!

Didnt see any PM about the lower grill.

As for the breaks I plan on replacing mine in the next 5-10k miles anyway so if it spices up the trade or to have a potential option for a would be buyer. I could throw in new pads/rotors with the stock calipers.

21k is a little bit of a stretch I mean there’s a lot of additions and love the car but I have a 2012 w/ the technology package with all the bells and whistles...air ride, wheels, exhaust, same air bag,17speaker lexicon surround sound with upgrade amp n sub and thought about selling mine for like 18k @76k miles with maintence records etc... if someone bites god bless but if you really want/need to sell you gotta bring it down in my opinion.

I'm gonna drive my 3.8 till it blows then drop the 5.0 in now that someone has done a write up on it should be even easier than winging it. Engine mounts, and making sure any tranny components that need to be upgraded to handle the bigger engine. Not liliklilike anything will need to be fabbed.. already know it will fit. 3.5 to 5k for a newer 5.0 and keeping all mods over buying a new car/starting over..

Appreciate your assessment since you have a similar setup but newer with the extra tech features. With what's invested and accounting for depreciation it's still a good deal IMO. $21k is on the high side but when you add it all up I'm practically giving the car away. I'm sure you understand where I'm coming from.

Comes with all the spares and am willing to throw in the extras if need be. It all adds up for sure, don't want to know how much it would have been if I paid a shop to do all the work.

where's the write up on the engine swap?

5.0 Engine Removal Write Up

Its written for a straight up 5.0 swap but i can imagine itd be that big of a difference as long as the transmission is taken into account engine and transmission harness. If i do this swap the plan would be to pick up a BTR tuned ECU and TCU.

FWIW Some people online don't understand how much rare and quality parts actually cost.

If you have the covers that go over the access holes near the front strut towers we can work something out. Mine popped out years ago.

Just wanted to say thanks again for the swap was a very great deal for such an awesome well kept set up. Anyone thinking of buying something of his, know he's very detailed up standing guy answered all question that came up with info and pictures! Install was a breeze and was able to bleed the brakes myself no problem. ill be cleaning the car up today and posting some pictures in another thread they look great ill pm you the link when theyre up.
