  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2010 Hyundai Genesis Sedan Specs

I'm getting conflicting info on the 2010 4.6 list prices. The dealer posted above a base price of $40500, while the sticker that dataguy posted shows $39,500. I believe the 2009 base was $38050. 2010 tech pkg shows $3500 vs $4000 for 2009 Base price of v6 is $33000 (from stickers) which looks like a price drop? What is going on here? thanks...

edmunds.com shows $39,500 base MSRP for V8 plus $800 freight. Maybe the dealer was looking at one of those infamous dealer markup stickers!

OK, for the record, here are the price changes for the 4.6

base $37,250 (09) to $39,500 (10)
tech pgk $4000 (09) to $3500 (10)

The dealer invoice on the base went up $250 less. Pretty large increase to get the "fixed" rear suspension (which is hard to notice, I checked), touch nav, adaptive cruise xl, and auto emergency brake. Might be better off with the 09, especially with the current incentives to the dealers. Opinions?

Since I think adaptive cruise and auto brake are only in the Tech package, the price differential in the base seems to be the touchscreen nav. The price delta is consistent with what manufacturers charge for factory nav as an option.

If you're going to get a base model and don't care about nav, then a late production 2009 is probably the best bet. But if you're going to get nav, then I think the Tech package is the way to go, not only for the Lexicon system, but also for the brake and adaptive cruise (which is the only feature I really regret not having on my 2009).

Does anybody know what the story on the leather dash color is? I haven't seen a single 2010 with a brown dash; every one I've seen in person or in pics is black, versus the early cars, which were all brown. Does the dealer order this feature? Are they building them with brown, still? I confess that I'm kind of partial to the brown dash; I'd like to pick up a 2010, but want to understand choices first.

thats what I have been thinking about, you answered , cool

why??

Does anyone have any info on this? Even the brochure now shows only the black dash...

I've got a 2010 with the cashmere color interior, and my dash leather is brown.

Are you sure about that? On the 2009 only Tech models got the 2-tier armrest. I would expect the same to be true of 2010. Did you sit in a 2010 w/ the Tech Package?
I have the 2010 tech package as well and my center armrest is double tiered as well. Also, why would they do away with the touchscreen in the tech package?? Or did they? I bought mine used with 90k miles on it just last year.
