Just picked up my Genesis today!

It was a left over 2009 Satin Pearl White with black leather premium plus.

Got them to knock the price down to $29k!

I think I got a good deal considering MSRP was $36,100

7k off the sticker sweet!

I'm loving it so far and the color combination is no longer available in the 2010 model? So it makes the car even more rare then it is!

You didn't pick the right options under circle, thus your non-tech V8. If the dealer gave you the lower one instead of a V8, you may have something, but you won't get anywhere because you made the mistake.

In your shoes, if I really wanted the tech - I would either try to swap the lease to someone, or ride it out for half a year and get the 2011 by trade-in. Maybe you'll come up ahead on the latter.

Awesome deal. Paid $2250 more than that a few months ago for a Black on black one. Was it a demo? What did the odom show?

From dealer. Circle is mute. I am thinking of shooting them (Hyundai Corporate actually) a letter via snail mail. Just need to figure out the correct address.

No demo the odometer was 370 miles.

What is that "Dealer Added Backup Sensors" that you talk about?
Was it a non-tech package V8?

The V-8 Basic has a Back Up camera and I wanted the Back Up Sensors also, to "BEEP" when my wife got too close to something when backing up. The Dealer installed them as part of the deal.

Pretty darn good when you consider KBB has the private party value as $31K and Edmunds has it as $29K. That is with 15K on the odom. Having said that, those prices seem optimistic considering dealers are still clearing 2009's off the lot at prices like you got. Our local dealer has three brand new 2009 V8 tech's for $37K.

Thats the exact same car I have except mine is a 2009. The leather is sweet!!!

Picking up my new Genesis on Friday. It is a black on black 4.6L with the tech package and all the goodies including the winged emblems, $41,700 off the lot including tax, tag & title and everything else. I had a 2008 Mercedes E-350 on a lease and they wanted $35,000 to buy it out. It was a 3.5L 6-cylinder that didn't have near the toys that the Genesis has and only a year and a half left on the warranty. They said they sell that year E-350 on their lot for $40.000. I handed over the keys and wished them well. It was a beautiful car, and fast as hell, but I am sure I will love my new Genesis...plus Mercedes can't touch the 10-year, 100,000-mile warranty.

Being that Florida has sales tax, can't say how realistic to get the same price. My car also came with a clear bra and tint for the price.

Check the nearest Costco, they may still have a special deal going with Hyundai.
