  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2010 Price Paid

Nice Price...Congratulation and welcome.

Just picked up a 2010 V8 Tech through the Costco program and somehow the $1500 competitive car rebate (supposed to be only for V6). $37,785.

Approximately $6,000 off MSRP seems to be what many buyers are paying.

Would you mind mentioning which dealer? I'll be in Florida next winter when my current lease ends.

Napletons

Napleton is pretty good... im going to try and buy a car at the end of the year. and i had a 2009 4.6 w/tech package down to $36k with them. but.... anticipated the 2010 to be better.... so maybe at the end of the year... the 2011 will be better... and the waiting game continues.

I still love my Mercury Marauder... so theirs no rush (only if i were to wreck it, i would hop into the genesis right away)

I just heard we can get a genesis with tech OTD below the invoice.
Is that true? I know someone who paid $37K OTD for 2009 genesis with tech, and the dealer said he would sell 2010 model with tech for $2K more. He lives in CA.

That's a very good deal, and achievable.
Go for it.

Just booked for lease Black 3.8 with premium Nav package $4150 down including tax and ttl $399.50 a month 15k miles per year

2010 Genesis 4.6 with Nav - used costco pricing and $1500 competitive rebate and 2.9% financing. $37,600 Saved so much I bought the 10 year bumber to bumber warranty. Ordering all of the accessories online - ipod cable, trunk mat, rear genesis badge, etc.

Dealer wanted $295 to change the badge, so I am doing it myself...

Couldn't pass up the Costco deal and LOVE THE CAR!

I test drove a 2010 V-8 Tau with the tech package. Was quoted $37,528, which included the $1500 competitive rebate, however the dealer also indicated that the $1500 competitive rebate expired 6/30 and he didn't know if it was being continued. He tried calling local Hyundai rep but could not reach him. Dealer was also throwing in every other scheduled maintenance. He quoted $529 on a 36 month lease with 15,000 miles per year with $1300 upfront. Price of car seems fine to me but lease price seems high..

He also indicated that he just got his first 2010 shipped to him, which makes no sense and that he did not expect to see 2011 for another year from now.

Saw a dealer today. He said Hyundai's offers (like the competitive owner) run through the 6th of each month (but are often renewed). He supposedly gave me the discount, but then again he quoted me $39.8k for the V8 with Tech so it is somewhat semantics. I decided to wait to see what I can get thru the Circle program

$37.9k for V8 with Tech today using Circle pricing. $39.6k dealer invoice - $1500 competitive owner rebate - $250 Circle cash. Dealer was great about whole thing, they were glad to get the sale and didn't push anything extra or give me a hard time

Note car had about $300 worth of additional accessories from the factory. Thanks everyone on here for the help getting this great deal

Where? The "great" dealer would appreciate the plug.

Congrats on the new ride and the GREAT price. What were the factory accessories?

Re: Need Advice on possible purchase of "09" Genesis

I got a 2009 V6 with the premium plus in March 2010 for 31,000 before tax in PA.
You should get at least $1500 to $2000 cheaper for the same model.

Plus the dealer has to trade with a Buffalo, NY dealer for the extra color (both interior and outside color) to get the car for me. My car ended up with almost 400 miles out the dealership, but I would not consider other colors.

Good luck.

2010 Genesis Sedan Base

$30,900 out the door

Had an Azera (which I loved) and did not mind dropping the memory seats (I drive it 95% of the time) sunroof (an annoyance to me) and rain sensing wipers (which I always switched to a manual speed). I was willing to do that in order to evade the leather panel in the dash and get woodgrain across it. It may be a downgrade, but it was a strong preference for me.

White Satin Pearl with saddle interior (had to wait over a week to get it from Virginia). Already set up Bluetooth, synced Home Link and ordered an IPOD cable.

Love it so far, reminds me of my Azera, but obviously a step up.

Paid $34,850 in Northern California - Bay Area, for a V6 Sedan - Titanium Grey Metallic with Saddle Interior. Premium and Nav pkgs and $100 rear cargo tray. Sticker was $38,400.
