Hey fellow genesis owners,
I have had my 2011 4.6 for several years now with no issues. Recently the fuel pump left me stranded and I had to get it towed and replaced. Had the oil changed at the same time. After these repairs, when I put the car in drive and start to accelerate, there is a rumble sorta gurgling type sound at low rpms, starts at about 1400 then it suddenly goes away around 1800-2k. It does not seem to happen in 1st gear but in any other gear it is very consistent. The sound only happens when vehicle is in gear and accelerating. It sounds alot like exhaust noise but I cannot seem to find any holes and since everything sounds completely normal when parked and revving the engine I am not sure if exhaust could be the problem.
There are no lights in the dash and the transmission works great. The car is awesome no complaints besides this sound which I know is not normal
Anyone insight would be helpful.
Just trying hoping to have some idea before having a mechanic try and swindle me.
