As a retiree, my Genesis is used only for leisure & very little : 8900 miles in 3.4 years. Car is kept in my home garage in a very mild southern climate (Houston area). Regular maintenance is performed annually at the dealership.
On the driver's side paint chipping can be seen covering an approximately 8" long area on the body frame edge just below the door. It is clearly visible with the door closed. I am always careful entering & exiting the vehicle & am the sole driver. (No way could my sneakers be hitting the chipping area!)
Does Hyundai or the dealership have any responsibility to repair this?
Never had this problem in any other less expensive vehicles I have owner over many years. (My trade in was a Sonata in pristine shape)
