  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I noticed my interior lights are not working.... Dome lights by Sunroof Control, Glove Box Light.. Blue 'Genesis' Lights on Door Sills, and lights on Vanity Shades and Trunk Light.

I checked a lot of fuses and all look good.... Was not exaclty sure which Fuse may have controlled this... It looks like S/Roof Fuse...

Any Ideas?

I got no replies, so I took my car to the Dealership to let them fix the problem.

It was not easy and it took them a couple days.... There was a Fuse Blowing, but it would blow immediately upon replacing it.
It turned out behind the drivers Side 'Kick-plate', there was a run of wires, where one had worn through and was contacting the metal and shorting out, causing the fuse to blow.
Cost was $400, but the dealer got Hyundai corporate to to chip in $200 --- and split the costs with us.

I will trade this car in next April for a 2018 Genesis.....

Thanks for the update. Finding a short like that can be difficult and time consuming. I can see the bill itemized.
Material: Tape 10 cents
Finding where to place tape: $399.90

Thank you for the update. I've been having an intermittent issue where my interior lights won't come on from time to time. I've been watching this thread. Unfortunately this doesn't help my particular issue.

Happened to me a year or so back when I somehow blew a fuse when replacing one of my courtesy LED lights. This fuse for is not where you would think, its under the hood and not in either small interior fuse panels that are on each side of the dash where the doors open.
