2011 Hyundai Equus w/VSM light on ..No smart cruise??

I have had issues .last 3 weeks. After 300 mile trip where I used the smart cruise several times. I had in the past 15 months of ownership no issues with cruise or Any problems.The next weekend getting ready for church I discovered dead battery for no reason.This came to be drain due to brake switch code 1513.It also had code. PO703..stop lamp open or short.I purchase New switch and took to dealer to have installed Telling them cruise was not working and VSM light on &cruise control would not set. This was replaced and still not fixed?? The smart cruise has 2 codes: C1360&C1632..Also the c1513. &P0 703 are still back on???? I need some good advice on how to resolve???It just turned100389 .Appreciate any assistance!!:

I know this was a year ago, but my 2011 smart cruise isn't working with the "VSM OFF" light. Did you get this resolved? What fixed the errors? I think in my case the Hyundai Cruise Control Module - 96400-3M200 will need to be replaced, but I need further diagnostics to determine. Why would this unit "go bad"? They are pricey, even used on eBay.

Update: it was the Hyundai Cruise Control Module - 96400-3M200. I finally found a good price, installed the unit and the EQUUS said, "hey, no problem here!" Nice to have cruise control back.

My problem was the"brake switch under gas pedal!!>Very cheapest of repairs!!parts & labor under $100.00>It is very common>don't do like me and leave the brake switch fuse out though!!

I have 2011 Equus Ultimate, VSM light got on after washing engine. And fuse I can check? Diagrams?

Update: it was the Hyundai Cruise Control Module - 96400-3M200. I finally found a good price, installed the unit and the EQUUS said, "hey, no problem here!" Nice to have cruise control back.

How or did you replace the unit yourself or the shop??? I was told by one dealership, it would cost me over $7K to fix my 2011 Equus

Once you take the bumper cover off, you can easily take off the old module and bolt in the replacement. More detail in this post
