  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anyone know how or have a step by step diagram on how to connect the sunroof guide rails and attachments on this 2011 Hyundai Genesis Sedan? I can't find any repair manuals that I can buy that can help me reinstall my sunroof after replacing everything. I took Pictures so I could retrace my steps unfortunately I got a phone replacement and didn't save them in the cloud nor memory card.
I lost my career and need to fix sunroof to sell car. I'm out of financial options 😭 such a great car. Any help or guidance in fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning thank you!
I really appreciate it I literally just walked out of the dealership and I had asked them if theynhad a manual I could buy or information they could give me on how I can install it and they told me that they had to do it.
I really appreciate the quick response thank you.

You are welcome.

I have the whole service manual for 2011 Hyundai Genesis Sedan in 14 PDF files.

Never mind, you are going to sell such a great car. I feel your pain.

AgentSmith007 everyone tells me I should keep it. I'm going to hold off on selling it and see what happens I just got a call from a company that wants me to start on the 24th so if that happens then I won't have to sell.
Because I love the way this car handles.
What would it cost me for the 14 PDF files.

You should try to do anything possible to keep the car.

After about 5 years of owning my 2011 Hyundai Genesis 4.6 I was tempting to trade it in to upgrade to 2014 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 R-Spec (I didn't like that "fluid" design that Hyundai introduced in 2015). R-Spec has 44 more horses, and in summer I like to drive in the spirited mood, another words - "I like the power". But then I cooled down and said no way. My 2011 has naturally aspirated 4.6 V8 EFI engine and 6-speed ZF transmission. R-Spec has (disregarding horse power) GDI engine and 8-speed Hyundai's home-made transmission which had/has some issues. 2011 model year was the last and best year before Hyundai switched to R-Spec because all bugs and kinks were fixed.

BTW, is your Genesis 3.8 or 4.6?

It would cost you 700,499 Russian rubles. Just kidding. :)
Let me know if you want service manual and I will put Zip file in my personal web storage and will send you PM.

😂 😆 😂 thank you for taking me to school with this valuable info on the Geni!
I only bought her to help my brother move back to California. I fell in love with this car as soon we hit the road she grabbed onto the pavement screaming for more fuel.
She handles turns well and is very solid on the interstate!
The speaker system is amazing and the beige seats looks good with the brown dash and carpet.
So you sold me on my own car she will stay garaged with me a little while longer.
Things are starting to look up!
The things you learn from others thxs 😁!

This is my issue ladies and gentlemen I'm starting to think maybe this should have been connected before putting the headliner back in the car. Are there any suggestions on getting this tilt mechanism back into place without having to bring the headliner back down it really would be some valuable information to me.
Now if it's in a certain position it will slide into the track guide But after that it's in the wrong position and it won't go down if that makes sense.
It would be nice if someone made a video of how to put certain parts back into the Gene so I won't have to take her to the dealership.
AgentSmith007 has giving me some great pointers and even convince me to keep the Gene.
Now all I need someone to help me reconnect the sunroof guides so it can open and close I can set the window back into place and take her out on the road where she belongs! I really do love this car!
With 139,030 miles on her she still rides good although I probably have only put 50 miles on this car.
The 50 that I've put on her gave me pure relaxation while driving down the Interstate. Not sure how many more miles she'll take on but I want to be hind the wheel till she's at her final mile.

Hello @AgentSmith007 can I buy the 14 PDF files from you on the 2011 Hyundai Genesis 4.6 liter Sedan if you think it will help me with my sunroof issues or any other issues? I kept the car just don't drive it when it rains.
