Been here awhile...
Were there any changes to the shocks/struts/spring rates for 2011?? I have read that you can minimize some of the harsh ride by going to a different tire like Michlins.

After 7500 miles of rock and roll I changed tires to new Michelins $824 buck that Hyundai
should have but on in the first place . WOW the difference is really NIGHT & DAY
easier steering ,Quit ride, smooths out those bumps ,This is the way to go !!!!!

Hey, I'm considering a Genesis late this year when my lease is up for my current car. Just wondering if anyone knows how the ride of the genesis 2011 relates to 2008 Infiniti G35 Sedan with sport package?
I've seen a lot of complaints on here stating that the ride is excessively harsh. I'm just wondering how it would compare to the ride of my current car. Most of the things I see on here seems to be what id expect to be typical of a sports leaning sedan.
Anyway if anyone has driven a G35 2008 would love to know how you think its ride compares to a Genesis
I own a 2007 G35X and a 2011 Genesis 3.8 with tech. package. They are quite different in their ride attitudes. The G is like what I to refer to as a “Sport Luxury Sedan” and the Genesis is a “Luxury Sport Sedan ” that distinction while not seemingly much different is quite pronounced for me. Now I know at this point I’ll probably get some negative if not obnoxious remarks about my point of view and I understand what a difference of opinion means. And yes I have driven both the V8 and the V6. Still I stand by my opinion. My G is as far as handling is concerned the closest thing to defying the laws of physics that I’ve driven It’s power of adhesion is remarkable that’s the allure it holds for me. Its ride is one geared toward those means. While not overly harsh it certainly does not approach the ride quality of the Genesis. Indeed the Genesis achieves this mix of handling and ride beautifully. I love the ride of my Genesis and it handles quite admirably. I am very happy with this car.
