  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey all,

I recently purchased a used 2013 sedan that needs both front and rear seats replaced due to an unfortunate vandalism incident. I was also happy to see a dedicated following for these cars and was hoping someone may be able to help me understand what options I have.

I found a nice set of front and rear seats out of 2012 sedan with memory & cooling. Mine does not have either. Does anyone know if each of these systems simply have an additional plug that I can leave disconnected but still retain heated seats? Or do I have to find base model seats to retain factory heat?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

On the 2012/13 only the driver's seat is cooled, guessing the passenger seat is the same as base units. Cooled driver seat and rear heated seat was only available on the Tech Package and the R-Spec.
The memory switch is on the door panel and also includes mirror and steering wheel settings plus the rear sunshade switch.
As opposed to some manufacturers that utilize a standard wiring harness with optional items taped off, Hyundai in some cases tend to create individual harnesses for selected options. I don't have personal knowledge of these specific harnesses so for me it's a crap shoot as to whether they match up with what you currently have. I looked through the service manual and it was pretty non specific but if you need a copy of same let me know and I will send one in a PM.
