  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Guys I know that its somewhere on here but all I've seen is info about the 17 speaker lexicon system. Can any of you tell me or show me a diagram of what the speakers sizes and locations are on my base audio system? If there are already cut outs for additional speakers that would be awesome too. Im trying to design one audio system to rule them all muwahahahaha!!!!! Thanks in davance

I believe in the base you have 6 speakers. One in each door and two tweeters one each on the front doors. As far as the size, 6 1/2 to 6 3/4.

Did you find a headunit to replace the factory unit?

There is also a 14 speaker Lexicon system in the premium package. Only the technology package add on got the 17 speaker.

UNfortunately, the stereo system is quite complex. It has a separate cd player, everything is routed through a signal processor, and distributed to the screen, and various modules. A one to one amp swap isn't exactly possible.

The base system has signal processors? If so what cant you grab audio signal from the radio directly and run it to an aftermarket amp and run your own speaker wires?
