  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The car is stalling from time to time when it is accelerating from dead stop or slowing down to very low speed. Usually after a cold start. It has occurred 5 times in the last 3 months. I took the car to the dealership and they could not replicate the problem. I had them replace the crankshaft sensor to be safe. The problem occurred again. I think the only other "fix" I have seen is replacing the PCM.

A couple questions about PCM replacement:
  1. Are their any aftermarket PCMs that are plug and play?
  2. If no aftermarket exists, is Hyundai the only place to get a PCM that is plug and play?
  3. What does a PCM cost?

I’m in the exact same position. eBay has used pcm for 200. Have you made any progress with this? I’m hoping I can just buy the computer and swap it, but it’s never that easy.
