2012 4.6 exhaust options -- suggestions needed

I'm just interested in some degree of V8 sound out of it. I'm not wanting a glass pack sound or significant drone on the highway, as this is my wife's daily driver. With the stock system, you can barely tell this is a V8, even when you rev it.

After reading and viewing some YT videos, it appears that I basically need some sort of performance muffler. I don't think I want to do a resonator delete, as was suggested at muffler shop I just visited. My top candidate has been the Borla ProXS, but the guy at the shop says he doesn't think it will fit in that tight area where the stock mufflers are. It appears those stock mufflers are formed onto the exhaust pipes and they are somewhat round longitudinally. The ProXS is 9.5 inches wide and 14 inches long. TJ at the shop suggested some variety of the Flowmaster Flo FX line.

Has anyone put performance mufflers on the 4.6? Any suggestions appreciated.
