2012 Black 3.8 Tech Genny - Shall I make an offer?

Just saw this pop up at the local dealer. Its so hard to find the Genesis locally with this package. Can I get you opinions on if this is a good price and has anyone been able to get a dealership to go lower than the internet price? Here is the link.

Also, I've heard the DIS system was improved from 12 to 13..What improvements were made and was the 12 that much worse? Thanks

$20,000 would be a good price for this car. As a CPO, you get the balance of the new car warranty, but because of the many hi-tech items on this model, you may want to consider an extended warranty. As a pre-owned 2012 model, the 3 year warranty on the radio, Nav, and DIS controller is just about over.
Genesis cars tend to sit on the lot for a while, so the dealer might bite on the $20,000 offer (specially if you mention the extended warranty.....$1,500 to $1,900 extra for an actual 10 year bumper to bumper---from original sell date)

PS Looks like the car was first titled on 2/11/12, so the Nav is covered for another month.
I noticed that it looks, and has the same options as my 13 Genesis, except that it has the hood badge, and the winged lug nut covers.

Make sure that it had the official Hyundai Certified Pre owned inspection and warranty.

The winged wheel hub covers are wrong. But that shouldn't dissuade a purchase. It's easy enough to get the correct set on Ebay for $60 or so.

The ad clearly states that this car has the Premium package with a 7" touchscreen, NOT a DIS controller. It does not have the Tech package. The advertised car is identical to my car, except for color. Love my car. Streams BT audio, unlike '12 Tech package cars that DO NOT stream BT audio.

Yeah. One of the features I wish mine had. I did acquire a blue-tooth receiver to plug into the mini-plug in the console that provides this function, so I'm not missing out on too much. Just have to change the source from USB to Aux. Mine is the same black, and I don't regret it. I love the car.

Personally, I rarely, if ever, use BT streaming. I put all my music on a USB stick. Plug it in and forget about it.

As I found out when looking for my car, do not believe the ad, go by the pictures only and make sure those are the actual pictures of that car, not manufacture's stock pictures. The dealers do so much cutting and pasting that it's not surprising they're wrong so much. Those pictures clearly show this car has the Tech package.

I always go by the pix because the dealerships are usually wrong.
