  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just got the "good news" today that my headlight multifunction switch needs replacing before my car will pass state inspection! It will cost me almost $800 at the Hyundai dealership.

Any advice on this? I just read a post that Hyundai has extended the warranty on this headlight switch to 15 years and 150,000 miles for 2015 and 2016 models. Has anyone heard anything about such a warranty extension on 2012 models?

Thanks!

Apparently no relief for those of us with pre-2015 models. I bought a new multifunction switch off of eBay for $178 and changed it myself. Not too hard to do.
Did yours malfunction during the inspection?
