2012 Genesis 5.0 Salvaged

My 2012 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 was rear-ended last week on the freeway. The interior remained safe even though the trunk, and crash bar were badly damaged.

I am thankful that other than minor neck and back soreness my passenger and I survived. The sedan initially survived the 45-50 MPH punch from the new Jeep Wrangler but was later deemed a total loss and sent to the auto graveyard.

I believe the salvaged car is headed to Nevada from San Diego.

Are you sure it is All Season?

I have these Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires and these are summer tires and they are sitting now on the wall tire rack in garage.
I have winter set of wheels on my car now.

Didn't know that Pilot Sport had All Season version. So 4S version is summer tire.

Sorry for your loss that's a legendary vehicle Good thing you guys walked out of it safely By the way they say you can always buy it back from the Insurance Company for pennies on a dollar It can come in handy in regards to those rare front end expensive parts if you choose not to repair it I wish I was in your state I would be glad to purchase it from you at a reasonable price

My insurance was willing to sell it to me with a salvage title for $10k. It needed over $10k in repairs so I just could not see an upside, even if a 2012 5.0 is selling for $16-17k in my area. Car prices are just insane and do not look to be getting any better because inventory is so low.

You are absolutely right SixFootSix those are facts Car prices are insane nowadays And that car of yours is actually a jewel if the accident is the only thing wrong with it. Nowadays more and more people are resorting to purchasing cars like the 09-14 Hyundai Genesis Sedans They just now realizing the value they offer for a daily driver and hence the high prices for whole car or parts
