  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

good day.
My name is Mike and I own a 2012 R spec 5.0.
the odometer indicates 122000 miles. I recently had an occurrence when driving that sounded like a flat tire deflating coming from the right rear, it is now making a grinding sound and the tire is not flat. the car appear to be sitting level as normal. any ideas where to start.

I recently had this experience and need some suggestions. Driving at 45 mph I had a sound from the right rear that sounded like the tire experiencing a blow out.. I only had a couple miles to go. The tire did not go flat but the sound was very similar. upon inspection the tire is not flat but the noise is there. im looking for a place to start.I cannot even find a repair or troubleshooting manual for my car. Any suggestions?

You'll have to get the car in the air and play around to find it. There's a lot that it could be wheel bearing, road debris, seized brakes. I had a old CRV where the brake dust shield rusted off and started scraping the rim. You won't be able to tell unless you check under it or take the wheel off and inspect it.

There's a couple of OEM Hyundai parts websites. I been getting my stuff off big tiger parts. Their Amazon listing looks kinda sketchy bc it's just a pic of their logo but they are genuine OEM parts and ship super fast. They're cheaper too

thanx
