  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone else have a rear glass that appears to leak on the inside in the same place on both sides??

Taking my R-Spec in for warranty work in the morning. Need to add this to the list.

It is not a leak, it is streaks caused by the rollers of the rear sun shade.

Are these marks on the top or bottom of the glass? I've looked at my sunshade in the past and when the sunshade is up the rollers do not actually touch the glass, but they might when the shade is on the way up. No marks that I can recall as of 4 years.

At the top.

I never thought about is being related to the rear shade. I decided when I dropped the car at the dealer for the rear ctr bumper chrome strip and the shift knob replacements, not to address the rear glass issue today. I'll check it out when I get the car back.

Thanks

John

And the rear shade it is. Thanks for the assist.

I have the same thing. I thought it was a scratch in the solar film until it wiped off.

I never even noticed the shade has rollers? I checked my rear glass and don't have any streaks, though I rarely use the shade unless my son (rear facing car seat) is riding and being blinded.
