I have a water leak in the cabin of my 2012 Rspec.
The plastic pan under the glovebox has a white absorbent material in place that becomes waterlogged after rain or snow/melt. It is sopping wet, and it leaks into the passenger's foot area and I have to clean it... frequently. I have attempted simulating the water by pouring some on the roof and hood of my car but have been unsuccessful to the point in locating/recreating to the extent nature has. I'm going to get a hose on it this weekend for some more research but am very curious if you folks may have an idea where this could be coming from.
Popping the hood, there isn't an extremely obvious path I can see. I can change brake pads and headlights with the best of them but beyond that I'm not skilled, nor do I have the tools I need at my disposal to start exploring more invasively. Anyone have a good idea where I should look?
