- Genesis Model Type
- 1G Genesis Sedan (2009-2014)
2012 sedan. There is some water and condensation in my passenger side outer tail light. Pictures attached.
Is this a common problem with this vehicle?
Is there a common spot of the seal that goes bad?
I had same problem in another vehicle of mine that I fixed. In my other vehicle I took the tail light out of the vehicle. I could not locate the exact spot where the seal went bad. I used a blowdryer and dried out the condenstaion from inside the tail light. I then put a bead of weatherproof silicone along the whole seal around the whole tail light. This fixed the problem. Its been a year since and no water or condensation in the tail light.
Is this a fix I can use on my genesis tail light?
