  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2012 spotted on the lots!

this is going to sound silly...but people who bought their cars in 2009 liked what they saw, including the suspension. Why is the problem re-surfacing now? If you don't like a car the way it is, don't buy it.

If you already bought it...who are you trying to blame?

silly arguments...obviously cars get improved as they age.

I dont think anyone is trying to prove anything these days. Early on some of us went to HMA to get some help, but they turned us away. We vented here on this forum. Some of us found some love and other blamed us for our own decisions. At this time Ive learned to live with it. Im really over it so dont flame me. Im planning on trading out and up to a 2012... I really cant wait to drive a 2012 V8. Now all I have to decide on is Black with saddle or White with saddle.... ugh.

Not according to some on this forum (some are probably dealers in disguise). They refuse to admit that the suspension is getting better, just like they refused to admit that it even changed in 2010 (trust me, that is exactly what happened on this forum back then).

Personally, I am not complaining at all, but just like you, noting that the suspension is getting better. Whether or not that hurts dealers who have 2011 inventory is not my problem.

I get tired of looking at all the after-market wheels posted on this forum (90% of them far uglier than the OEM wheels), but I don't complain about those who post pictures of after-market wheels because they have a right to complain about the OEM wheels (exhaust, badges, head-lights, tail-lights, tires, etc, etc) as much as they want.

Any new information or reports on dealers getting 2012's?

Autotrader was not showing anything locally (Minnesota), but when I stopped by a dealer an hour ago, there were 4 3.8 2012s on the lot.

Gotcha, I bought mine at Walser Hyundai in Brooklyn Park. I was the 1st Genesis sale at their dealership:) Hard to believe I bought my car when I was 26 and now in February I'll be 30:eek:

Hey there, new to the forum and first post. So take it easy on me! I was wondering if people should expect a 2012 here in Indiana, as I was told yesterday they wouldn't be arriving until October! Should I believe this? They said something about it being a "forced" issue due to distribution type problems. Is this BS?

I live here in Indiana and according to my dealer they were looking to have a few 2012 3.8 at anytime. They said the cars had shipped from the Port Of Entry on the West Coast.

2012 has been showing up everywhere. if you don't have it, just give it another 2-3 weeks I'm sure the dealership will have them + will start throwing the 2011's out

hoho, time for me to buy ! yipppieee !

2012 3.8's now in Texas and moving inland. At this rate They will be everywhere by the end of July.
