  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The driver seat warmer switch lights up normally to start (in either high, medium or low setting) but after about 10 seconds all three lights flash steadily until the car is turned off. I replaced the controller under the seat as suggested in an earlier post but no change. The fuse tests good. Does this mean the heating element under the seat cover must the problem? Thanks in advance for any thougths or experience with this.

I'm having the same issue. Verify the wiring metal pins are secure inside the plastic connectors, a known issue with Hyundai from my experience. I have to dig deeper in the issue as I might have a bad seat element.

I had this happen on my '09 4.6 probably around 2010. I also was getting a smell from the car and when I brought in to the dealer they found my heated/ventilated seat switch shorted out. It was replaced under warranty and still works fine today.
