  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

plus a beeping sound. This happens every time I come to a full stop. The 3 green lights appear. I am guessing that it is some form of pedestrian warning. Can you tell me how to turn this off?

It sounds like you have the park assist still enabled. Push the button on the Dash to the left of the steering wheel to turn it off. Looks like a P with 3 curved lines on it.

The owners manual showed me how to do that. It didn't stop the green lights. They appear every time I bring the car to a full stop.

Module might be toast. Try pulling the fuse for a minute.

Thanks, I will try that.

Parking sensors. They are enabled when the transmission is in D while you're stopped or moving less than 3mph IIRC.

Interference from similar sensors on Teslas and some other cars (BMWs) will set them off when at stoplights. Nothing you can do about it other than turning off the system (switch lower left side of dash).

is just when coming to a stop? Or sometimes random?
Mine does this as well( when there’s nothing in front of the car )
I was told it was a cause of a bad parking sensor that it chimes and flashes to let you know there is an issue

I searched the owner's manual for the location of that fuse. I didn't find it. I will keep looking thru the fuses.

The Parking Sensor has a blue light on the P button. It is easy to know if the Park Assist is on or off. Mine is definitely off.

Not random. Every time I come to a stop. 3 horizontal green lights and a beeping. Your answer reminded me that the front bumper was replaced before I bought the car. I think that you have guided me to the cause of the problem. I am searching for the fuse.

post a pic or vid if possible. although I think the answer is prolly a damaged proximity sensor...

I have the same problem but with two rear sensors. Additionally, I feel this may be killing my battery as I have had to jump start twice recently. Anyone know which fuse to pull to disable the system temporarily?
