  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Bye bye, Serius/XM.

"One feature that younger buyers, or the young at heart, will appreciate is Toyota's Entune multimedia system, which uses your smartphone to interface with apps such as Bing, iHeartRadio, OpenTable and Pandora. It displays them on the vehicle's audio screen alongside such features as real-time traffic information, navigation, weather, fuel prices, sports and stock prices."

My Genesis dun got no multimedia audio feature. The new Avalon does. That is why I posted this topic in the Genesis vs. the competition forum...if that is okay with you. Should I run posts by you in the future before I activate them?

Since this is the competition forum, I think it is OK right where it is. A lot of people who have not seen the all-new 2013 Avalon don't think that it is competition for the Genesis, but I think they are wrong (at least for V6 Genesis sedan).

That's funny right there! :D

JMO: in the flesh, the exterior looks pretty nice; it has good lines and has a Lexus type upscale look.

The interior, on the other hand: not impressed. Has some German influence, but still looks sterile and utilitarian. I am not aware of all the different trim levels, but the screen in the one I saw was tiny!

*Mod Hat*
I see no problem posting threads that are appropriate (other manufacture offerings) in the appropriate sub forum...

Carry on.

I just read a review of the Avalon in Motor Trend, and they rated it very highly, the only drawback being a somewhat stiff ride and firm seats. That is quite a departure from previous Avalons, which were considered to be floaters with a very soft ride, and is an indication that Toyota is are indirectly going after BMW in somewhat the same way that Hyundai has done with the Genesis.
