  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Noticed this the other day, one of the inserts has been knocked loose and pushed back. Don't know if something hit it or what. Tried several times to push it back it place but always comes loose again. Has anybody had this happen to their Genesis. I can't tell if something is broke or not.

I had this happen to me not too far back. I had to replace that lower grill. The entire assembly cost ~$120 if I remember correctly. The bumper has to come off to remove and replace that part. Took me just a bit over an hour taking my time to replace.

Don't these tinted inserts have to do with the adaptive cruise system that comes on the Genesis with Tech Pkg.

No, that little rectangular patch on the bumper in your picture above is where the ACC sensor is located..

I think this is the OE #86564-3M510 rt.grille cover. Car is still under the factory 5-year 60 000 warranty so it should be replaced.

Yes, the square patch is where the the tow hook attaches.

Wild guess here but I'd bet you hit something that was kicked up off the roadway and maybe not noticed therefore unlikely to be a warranty issue.
