  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

We recently stumbled upon some grainy photos of what appeared to be a completely uncovered 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe, showing off its new Veloster-inspired nose. Now, our intrepid spy photographers have caught a pair of Genesis Coupes out testing in the Death Valley heat, showing off the brand new nose.

These prototypes appear to either be the top-trim Track model or the hardcore R-Spec, featuring large, 19-inch wheels and a set of Brembo brakes. We've also managed to get our first glimpse at the coupe's revised interior, though from the looks of things, not a whole lot has changed (we'll wait until we see a console shot before drawing conclusions, though).

As for what's under the hood, a safe bet is that the coupe will get the revised, direct-injected 3.8-liter V6 from the Genesis Sedan, producing 333 horsepower. Of course, we're all crossing our fingers that Hyundai has found a way to shoehorn its new 429-hp 5.0-liter V8 under the two-door's sleek hood.

The 2013 Genesis Coupe is expected to debut at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show in January. Stay tuned for more details.2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe shows its new face, interior originally appeared on Autoblog on Tue, 30 Aug 2011 11:28:00 EST. Please see our terms for use of feeds.

Lets hope Hyundai takes the Genesis Coupe upmarket. The Veloster should help hyundai take the coupe starting price to around 27k-28k. That 5k could be used for interior upgrades and noise reduction . There should not be a 12k base price difference between the sedan and coupe. This may have been at first to get the numbers up on the name, but I'm hearing that the sedan outsells the coupe. I know I see more Sedans than coupes

The 210hp motor should be dropped and left for the upcoming Veloster turbo. The Sonata version of the 2.0 should be place in the Genesis coupe with at least a 10hp bump now (2012) instead of 2013 models. No stock Sonata should be making more power than a stock Genesis. An Genesis Coupe Hybrid should also be a part of the upgraded looks

Like the look if this is it

Anything's better than the current front end

XD

I actually kinda like it - from all of the aftermarket front ends, the ones that made the car look more like a GT-R were my favorite. This one is "GT-R meets Evo meets Veloster", and I think it will work overall. The rear was already one of the nicest of any coupes out there, but sorry, that midget front grill was just WRONG. Screamed Tiburon, only uglier for some reason. Not hating on the car... my friend's Coupe is the reason I even looked at the Sedan!

These things will sell like hotcakes.
