Hello all
very long story so I will try to keep it short as I need help.
My 2013 sedan ran the battery out one evening. My friend tried to jump it without me and used the battery in the trunk…Well after that it wouldnt start. It would just crank non stop until I pushed the start/stop button (Like there was no fuel). But there was
So it was towed to the nearby dealership.
They say the ignition control module is bad (I suppose from jumping it from the battery vs the posts in the engine bay???)
Apparently this part is on back order for the last MONTH. As my car has been sitting there ever since. And they want to charge over $1100 for the part and install. I finally got the part number and some searching lead me to plenty of options on eBay for cheap.
can I install a used module? I assume so???? I just want my car back.
