  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2013 Lexus GS

Well... did they? The guy says they "went a little overboard".

A LITTLE OVERBOARD.

All I got from this article is that they got it all wrong with the styling, but are too stubborn to do anything about it!

Something is seriously wrong with Honda leadership these days.

In the car design world, an admission such as this is equivalent to say, yeah, we fcuked up. Especially from a Japanese company who are culturally rather rigid about admitting mistakes in public.

i just came back from a 1 week vacation in Tokyo, and was stunned by how polite everyone is.
i suspicion is when the designers presented the new exterior, nobody spoke up and said, "that's damn ugly!"

Thank you, Gambler... the boards have really gone downhill of late. For every informative post, there are ten negative/derogatory/off-topic ones.

Out of all our active members we have only one person willing to moderate - Gambler. I've given up asking for more help.

Sal,

I'm on the site every day. I currently run an 800-member site and used to run a 2,000 member forum site, both of which were founded on RESPECT and MATURITY. I've offered to help in the past, but perhaps you didn't get my PM... my offer still stands.

;)

...All in favor of Russimo's elevation to Moderator status!?

AY!

went to the Lexus dealer today, I take it back the car actually looks pretty nice, especially the interior. In fact the interior may be best in class. Got to drive the GS 350, it's actually very light and very easy to drive. It may not have the grunt of the Germans, but it actually feels just as fast, cause it feels so light and easy to maneuver. I was actually pretty impressed with the car which surprised me.

^ Some of the switchgear on the center stack is not up to par and has too much aluminum accents (such as on the steering wheel) for my taste, but overall a nice job/upgrade over the previous GS.

It still has the higest quality interior in the class. Count the M/XF/Genesis/E/5/A6/RL/MKS.
