2013 transmision sound

I hadn't driven my '13 for more than two months. I hear a whining in the lower gears as I accelerate. Sounds tend to sneak up in a car so the sounds were probably there before and the break in time probably made the sound more noticeable. There are no problems(slipping,jerking,etc.) and the car has been well treated (64,00 miles). Any thoughts?

May want to have drive shaft and rear universals checked. They usually make noise at lower speeds, then seem to disappear as car gains speed and outside noises mask .

Whining from universal? Sounds as though it's in the transmission. It increases with speed and then drops into the next gear and starts to rise again. No sound as it goes into higher gear. It's headed to a lift in a few days. Thank yo!
