  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I know this has to be beating a dead horse but bare with me fellas.

Eventually i would like to upgrade the suspension. Can you use the 5.0 V8 suspension kit on the V6s?

Yes

Will the r-spec or 4.6 front springs result in a higher ride height when installed on a 2009 3.8 due to the lighter weight of the V6?

Since the 2013 V6 is obviously lighter in weight than the V8 I'm looking to see if aftermarket lowering springs will be ok on a lighter weight car with a more rigid suspension

If you want more rigid for the V6, get the 2011 suspension parts for the V6 (springs, shocks/struts) but keep the 2013 rear stabilizer bar (same bar was used for V6 and V8).
