  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2014 Equus Signature with 9,600 miles on it.. Until it is really warmed up; you can feel an engine miss (stutter) upon accelleration. After it completely warms up it seem to go away. Any ideas??

My 2014 Ultimate does that too sometimes when the engine is not warned up. I have been wanting to take it in to see why.

I think the car is running "lean" on fuel. Probably because of the tight emissions standards.. I will have it checked at the 15K check.. Thanks for the input..

My 2014 was purchased last Dec. It was made in Sept 2013 and had sat on dealer's lot for over a year.
It was a little "fluffy" or rough on cold start, but smoothed out after warmup.
I guessed that the injectors/cold start system was a bit clogged with fuel varnish, etc. So I bought some Techron at Costco. Hyundai sells this for several times Costco's price, but with a Hyundai label. Emptied two bottles into my tank and the roughness soon disappeared. BTW Hyundai recommends periodic usage of their fuel injection cleaner (Techron).
