2014 genesis head rest problem after being hit from behind

Hey! I've got a 2014 genesis and got hit from behind and my head rest on both seats sprang open. Can you reset and if so how? Or are they broken. I took it to Hyundai and they were trying to Push then down which didn't work and they are quoting $1700 to replace both hear rest. Please help! Thanks
