  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello,

The other day I had my 2 kids in the back of my 2014 Sedan, and after everyone got out of the back of the car. 1 each of this part was on the floor behind the rear drivers seat and the other one was behind the rear passenger seat.

The dealer has no idea what it is and I don't either...I do know the kids were kicking the back of the seats while they were back there.

Anyone have any idea where these go? they both were broken in the middle...I just glued one together so I could show what it looks like unbroken.

I've attached 3 pictures of the item in question.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Steve

Were your kids the ones who were sitting behind me on the airplane a few months ago, kicking my seatback? Maybe you should try electro-shock therapy to rid them of that habit.

Looks like a carrying handle for the floormats.

Nope...Weathertech mats installed

I'm going to contact Hyundai USA being the dealers in my area are a joke...

I'm not sure the parts his posted are related to prefambulation of the novatrunion, more likely it's related to the interocitor, hence the need for the encabulator

Those parts are part of the front seat rails. They act as "end caps" for the rails and help prevent gunk from getting inside the rails from people feet. Mine have come off once or twice before. They can be a bit finicky to put on, but they should snap/lock in place when done properly. Yours look broken...

Kids be kickin my seat back I smack a bish.
Or anyone for that matter. :rifle:

I'd say it's safe to assume it's the seat rail dust cap tho, which isn't a super huge deal.
