  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My 2015 3.8 AWD Caspian Black with Ivory Interior is one week old today. I need to mount my EasyPass and I was wondering where others are mounting their EasyPasses? Mounting it below the rear view mirror may be a problem due to the size of the camera assembly for the lane keep assist. Are others mounting it in the center or in the top upper right of the window on the passenger side?

I have my CA fastrak tag (similar technology to EZPass) mounted to the right of the rear view mirror. Can't see it from my driving position and it works perfectly.

Be careful not to block a rearview mirror sensor.

I don't have an EZPass but I do have a V1 and dash camera mounted on either side of my rear view mirror. For me the less I see the better.

I painted mine a dark color and mounted it beneath my mirror up close to it. Bearly notice it is there. Couldn't stand the light color of it. From a distance now you can't even see it from the front.

Great idea Alwaysforward. Any special paint that you used that did not interfere with its operation?

I just wrapped mine in black Gorilla tape. Can't see it from outside unless you're really close up.

That is a great attachment idea. I live in TX, but have one to use when I travel.

I just used Rust-Oleum spray paint. Works awesome. No interefence.

Here in NY...

I've seen the high end cars, the Mercedes S550, BMW 750i etc...with the EZ Pass mounted into the front license plate frame...the actual EZ Pass module is part of the front frame.

Those are nice because they are mounted with one way screws and cannot be removed unless you have the tool to do it...

I'm going to go check it out & see if I can get one for my 2014 Genesis Sedan..

I got the case linked below and used velcro to stick it to the black plastic electronics cover right behind the rear view mirror. You can hardly tell it is there and the ezpass works every time.
