  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Alright guys. I’ve been looking everywhere for a picture or diagram for the location of the crankshaft position sensor on my 2015 Hyundai Genesis 5.0. All I can find is information for the 3.8. Any help or pictures or advice on how to change this would be awesome.

The crank sensor is p/n 39310. By the location, it looks to be on the front left of the engine? The short pigtail might narrow it down. By its orientation, front cover?

Edit: Search through this thread. 2015 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 lower front timing cover replacement

Maybe a pic in there or PM him. He should know.

Great, its on the back of the motor.... there is no room from the top to get to it and no room from the bottom so how do you replace it?
