Could be the radiator fan , I had mine replaced, it was covered by my extended warranty.
 
I was getting a high pitch squeaking sound that would run for a few seconds after the the ignitio was turned off. I turned out to be fan bearing. Im not sure if it was the radiator or AC fan , but the fan is mounted on the radiator.

There's only one fan. It serves for both engine (radiator) and AC (condenser) cooling.

And if the temperature is hot enough it will operate after everything is shut down.

Yes, though the 100+ temps here have not led to that so far for me.
