2015 Genesis 5.0 p0308 misfire

in my 2014 Hyundai Genesis rspec 5.0 l’m having a misfire too but only on start up and this was after I changed my sparkplugs



I had changed them at 60,000 miles with some ngk iridium iX plugs and not laser iridium and I’m wondering could that be the reason I’m having trouble

I personally doubt it's a sparkplug issue. My money is on a coil pack. Get a reader and see which cylinder is misfiring. Then clear the code and switch the misfiring coil pack with a cylinder's coil pack not misfiring. If you get another misfire, see what the code reader shows. You could just have one bad coil pack. But personally I would change out all my coil packs, cheap insurance. Report back here what you figure out, feedback is golden. Good luck!

Thank you I’ll make sure to check, I’m just confused cause I started having a no checkengine misfire after doing my sparkplugs


It happens 20 secs after startup when the engine is cold and goes away after it’s warmed up

Check the gap! They do not always come out of the package correctly gapped.
