After multiple failed attempts and several days of being out my car for the annoying sunroof rattle, I've given up.
Last Wed I traded in my Genesis for a 2014 BMW 535i. Both vehicles had roughly 30k miles and it was an even up trade for the most part, so I at least feel like I got out without being beat up too bad.
I'm well aware that BMWs are service snobs (I've owned 6 in the past), but I have also experienced a significantly higher level of service when problems have come up.
I did just buy a brand new set of General G-Max AS-03 tires for the 5.0 that I hadn't yet had time to install. (2) 275/35/19 and (2) 245/40/19. Hit me up if you'd like to make an offer. I'm in the DFW area, but would ship out of area at buyers expense. I've had these tires on a 2014 Audi S5 and a 2010 Camaro SS and will argue they are a phenomenal AS tire that still allows good performance.
I love this new Genesis and will for sure be back when they get the flaws ironed out. It's too good of a car to let these small things go un-addressed.
Good luck to you all!
