Well, the one scenario I didn't envision is that they'd forget I exist entirely! After a week I even called them back again, and then again, and then another week went by. Finally I called them again, and told the service manager, "Look, I'm fine driving your 6000-mile loaner G80 for as long as you want, but I'm writing down the date and who I'm talking to, and I'm not going to keep chasing you guys. If you want me to drive your car until the fall, I won't complain, but don't act upset if you remember I've had your car for three months when you call!"
The guy said, sure, sure, that's totally reasonable, we should have gotten in touch. He said for sure the general manager would call me the next day.
That was a week ago. I figure at this rate I might be able to wait 'em out until the next-gen G80 hits the lots...
