2015 Genesis Sedan LED Turn Signal

Hey since i bought my 2015 Genesis Ultimate I've been working to get rid of that yellow DRL and turn signal. I've opted to go with a full LED approach. Here's what I have so far. I'm planning to finish up the project this weekend.

It also functions as a DRL when the headlights are off, I'll get a video of that later.

Awesome work. What are you using as a replacement amber/white strip? I have been trying to score a cheap used extra pair off eBay so I can so similar modification to them.

I was thinking about something like this one.

I'm actually using LED switchback strips from The retrofit source
Specifically 4 6" sections and 1 3" piece since they don't flex side to side

Sick! I recently just upgraded mine DRL's with the ijdmtoy ones and gotta say i really like them. post more vids when youre done!

I used the switchback LEDs from TRS and connected them to the turn signal wires that I tapped from the back. And for I wired the white LEDs to the DRL wire and Headlight wire, isolated by a diode.

Opening the headlight was the most difficult part of this project because the lights are permasealed, it took me about 1.5 hours to open each headlight.

That is sick. Man I need to find a pair of use lights. My Genesis is my daily driver so I can't be with out headlights Do you have any pics from the install while you took them apart?

outstanding work brother do you have any more videos and did you just place the new strips on top of the old led strips or all together remove the old led strip. .
