  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anyone tinted a 2015 sedans tailights yet? If any of you photoshop wizards can photoshop a light smoke on a Casablanca White Genesis I would really really appreciate it.

no one has done it that I am aware of. the lights already have a darker hue to them so im not sure what tinting them would accomplish.

Well my car is similar to yours and I am going for that white and black look. I wanted to get a light smoke for more of an accented touch you know? I plan on doing a chrome delete and getting all of the brushed metal wrapped a metallic black. I also am getting custom headlights that are going to be completely black but with a clear lens and a true daytime led.

to each his own I suppose. i am sure a local vinyl or graphics shop can handle it for you.

Just like lowering and putting cut outs on a luxury sedan. To each his own.

which is why i said it.

on a side note, what type of car is acceptable to modify?

Haven't seen them on a Gen 2 but did the headlights and reverse section of the tailights on my 2010 a month or so ago. Used Oracal Orafol 8300 Light Grey and think it turned out perfect. Matches the lips of my wheels at the right angle. The Middle Grey was waaaaay to dark.

With headlights on. I know people will hate the fact that I run 3000k but to each his own.

Orafol Middle Grey

It's not about what car is acceptable. Its about accepting that other people mod in different ways.

I agree with that. That is why truckers use 4300K HID's and yellow tinted glasses at night. Visibility is insane!

With the headlight housing being black the lighter grey might make them too dark. Glad you like the taillights, I'm happy with how they turned out and haven't seen anyone only do the top reverse section.
