2016 ultimate oil changes

K,77 yr old here and
Looking for advice. Our prepaid oil changes on our 16’ Ultimate are about due to expire and I do have a service center I have trusted in the past. Question is when having a non dealership performing this service my concern is filters, would it be preferable that I provide the filters or trust their knowledge as to the correct filter too use.also will be using Mobile1 full synthetic 5-30 as were in Phx.Az. Is this preferred ??

Going back a few years to my 2015, I was having something done at a local trusted shop and figured I'd get an oil change while there. They are across the parking lot to a NAPA store. So, they drained the oil and walked over to get a filter. no filter.

Now this was over 4 years ago so things may have changed. I'd check to see that they had one first.

I will only put dealer oil filters in as long as the warranty is good. Any other oil filter may void warranty quicker than anything else you can do.

Probably best to provide my own dealer purchased oil filter was my thought.maybe even oil.
