  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Re: Equus Spy Shots

I don't see the upcoming E Class's resemblance to the Genesis. What I see is the MB S Class styling. They've incorporated that look in the new C Class and now they're doing it with the E; Small, Medium, and Large look-a-likes.

Re: Equus Spy Shots

Looks like it is going to have or be a long-wheelbase offering - ala A8L / 750Li. This is a good thing. I notice the inside door handle release is straight out of the 7 series.

However - they better not go with that multi-piece center armrest with the funky shape on the driver's half. That looks tacky as hell. They have an opportunity to really step up the game with the new generation of this.... and they shouldn't be making mistakes like that.

I don't see anything strange about the shape of the front center armrest other than the fact that it's been partially erased by image software such as Photoshop.

The left side sticks out a little bit, towards the DIS controller - kinda like Merc had the little piece with the phone dialer pad inside it a few years back. The right side is stepped back from there, as you can see by the charging cable coming out of the cup holder. I think that un-even "wave" shape from the left to the right looks goofy.
