2017 Genesis badges on first gen

Has anyone slapped a nice 2017 Genesis emblem on their car yet (First Generation) Found them on eBay, however if I purchase them I would have to take the tabs off with a dremel tool since they don't sell them without the tabs yet.

You guys think it would be too big for the trunk? The G80''s trunk looks a bit wider, believe our Genesis trunks are a bit smaller. Then debating to get one for the hood too. What u guys think

The G80 and Genesis Sedan are both the exact same car. The new badge would look perfectly fine. They're just pretty expensive right now - otherwise I'd have them for sale here. I see people using the second generation badge on the first generation trunk so I'm pretty confident the new badge will look good...
 
Yeah I was also thinking the second generation until I saw the official Genesis logo they'll be using on their entire line up. Cheapest I've seen for one badge was 28 I believe on eBay, trunk piece only though.
 
I was looking more for a first generation genny with them :)

Leave well enough alone. The first generation Genesis logo is now officially called the Retro Badge. It's a classic.

Naaah lol. Always thought the original Genesis wings on the first gen looked too small. Almost bought a second gen till I saw third gen! Haha
