  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2017 Honda Ridgeline VS Genesis

If I wanted a truck again, the Ford Raptor comes to mind.
I can understand that. The whole point is that the Ridgeline is not really a truck, but a stretched Honda Pilot SUV (uni-body construction, like cars) with an open bed in the rear (instead of being closed off like an SUV).

I am actually in this boat myself. Current vehicle is a 2010 Nissan Frontier. Deciding between possibly a Ridgeline/Pilot or a Genesis .. maybe a Kia K900 if I can find one

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!

The new 2017 Acura MDX is very similar to the Pilot, but obviously a few more luxury features.

Woohoo!

"It’s also the only truck in its class with a bed that doubles as a giant speaker. In top trim levels, six so-called “exciters” are mounted behind the bedsides. If you think of these as speaker magnets that use the panels to which they’re affixed as cones, you’re pretty close. The upside is that they’re waterproof and impact proof. The downside is that the sound quality is a little low-fi, and bass is nonexistent. Which, if you have any friends who tend toward techno, is not a downside at all. But for doing what one does with a truck bed—standing around leaning on it—it’s a good means of reproducing country music. Honda expects that you’ll use the 400-watt power inverter that upper trims have in the truck bed to power a big-screen TV at tailgate parties, during which the bed speakers should wow all of your inebriated neighbors." IMHO it is rather silly option but will sell for those tailgate party people. I have this option as it is included in the full trim package however never tried it and probably never will. ;)
