  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Looks sporty but hope it doesn't drive like one
Me too. When I buy a full-size luxury car, I prefer luxury over sport. If anything, an adjustable suspension to tighten things up for those who want that kind of thing would be fine - but don't make it stiff all the time...

I like most of it, but the grill looks overbearing to me.
May be one of those design aspects that needs to grow on ya...

The drawing depicts the shield grill which appeared on the GV80 concept car shown last year at the NY Auto Show. Also the twin strip tail lamps appeared on that concept. Obviously the GV80 previewed the new style signatures for all upcoming Genesis models. IMHO I thought the GV80 was very appealing and expect the production models forthcoming will be brilliantly styled.

I'm definitely a fan of the design - and I really hope the lighting in the back looks like that...

The 2020 G90 does not look like a flagship luxury car.
The exterior:
The grill-bad. I do not like the shape (especially the point at the bottom) nor the large size. Also, it protrudes from the body and looks "droopy";
The air intakes underneath the grill- bad. They look mundane;
Headlights-okay;
Hood creases-okay;
Fender nacelle/turn indicator-okay per se, but belongs on a coup not a sedan;
Wheels-okay (I'm glad I'm not cleaning them);
Tail lights-ok, except the point at the rear fender needs work;
The replacement of the "wing" for the GENESIS name-okay;
The elimination of the chrome bar-bad;
The lip spoiler-bad. It doesn't belong on a luxury car.

The interior-All good.
Fewer buttons-good;
New color combinations-good
Color coordinated dash and steering wheel-good.

Genesis has taken a classy, simple (albeit conservative) "Bentleyesk" design and turned it into a "Cameryesk" one.

Yeah I am not a fan of the grille either.

I like the current look a lot more.

I always though the hexagonal shape was better and with the horizontal lines.

I like the new model - but the current version has a very classy, traditional luxury look that I really like.
