  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Seems like the only differences are matte paint, new 19" wheels, and the 3D instrument cluster. I wouldn't be surprised if it also has the carbon fiber trims that are available in Korea. Has anyone seen different 19" wheels on the G70? Or could it just be wheels used for other Genesis cars in Korea or even the facelifted G70?

Don’t care for it besides the carbon fiber trim. However, if it does come with carbon fiber trim, it should then be possible to order the parts.

What would a G70N be like performance wise from it's current set up? Comparing to the sport 3.3 of course. Considering the specs of the veloster N, I would expect the G70 to still outperform it but I havent dug deep into the veloster capabilities.

V8 N version ;) 👌

In Canada, the 2021 models are already out. No difference between the 2020 and 2021.

Sad that there won’t be a digital gauge and carbon trim. The Korean models definitely look better IMO.

I’m thinking that in Canada they’re just going straight to the facelift to add everything.

Would imagine possibly an N variant would incorporate the new 3.5 featured in the new G80 probably a little beefed up.

Putting aside that Genesis wouldn't use the N moniker, the G70 with 3.5TT pushing out around 420 hp would be the N-Line (equivalent to the Sport).

A true M competitor will have to boost that engine closer to 500 hp or add electric boost.

Extra charge for black and blue colors? I’ve seen reds and yellows carry upcharges before but for a black and blue color now, hmmm? Another way to just add costs to the car while being able to make the base car price look cheaper until you factor everything in.

It's a shame because the paint quality of Adriatic Blue is pretty shit. It's a pretty color with a good amount of metallic flakes, but it chips ridiculously easily. I drove a 2012 Honda in my current location for 2 years and got the same if not fewer rock chips than driving my G70 for 2 months without PPF. An acquaintance has a Corvette that has fewer chips as well. These aren't brands with crazy paint quality we're talking here.

Also, I'm pretty sure the dark blue being used on the new Sonata is the same paint color. If they're going to charge for it, at least make the color unique to Genesis.

... LED taillights!
Pretty sure that doesn’t include the turn signals and reverse lights, they’ve been calling them LED taillights since launch

Matte paint? Really?
